Well this is odd--I am creating a post and the week is all but over. Fourth of July week and the following week, are always big weeks for us and if I am busy filling orders, I know you are too!! But seriously this week totally got ahead of me, flowers were selling out faster than I could post their availability. Thank you, we really do appreciate you and LOVE to sell flowers. I am only writing this for next year so that when planning ahead you might have some idea of what was available.
After a week of warm weather the flowers are really exploding and we have gorgeous flowers. Naturally the peonies steal the show--sadly the coral have all been harvested and sold but we have an entire array of white, pink, medium pink, fuchsia and deep burgundy. The sweet peas have gone so crazy that I actually used a ladder to harvest so it is time to cut some vines. I have sweet peas on 18-24 inch vines and on the stem in white, cream, pink and fuchsia. They are stunning. The delphinium are nearing their peak and we have white, sky blue, cobalt blue and deep blue bunches that are tall and full, bursting with blossoms. The eremerus aka Foxtail Lily have also peaked--I know, one week, but it is that kind of year. They are fabulous--tall and strong, quite magestic. And last, but not the very least at all, are the baptisia. The blue has dwindled but we have a good supply of smokey purple.
New this week are bellflowers, blue penstemon, Iceland poppies, silver king, scabiosa and screaming yellow yarrow. We also have dusty miller, firecracker, melica grass, filipendula and green wizard. Speaking of harvest, I must get out and do some. For the latest availability or to place an order please email, fax, text or call--we enjoy talking to you.
