Bindweed is a small—9 acre--Father and two daughters--cut flower farm. Located in the heart of potato country, Bindweed sits on the eastern edge of Idaho’s high desert plain. Surrounded by several mountain ranges and cinder cones—extinct volcanoes—we have spectacular 360-degree views, rich soil and a short growing season.
On clear days the tip of the Grand Teton sits up like a shark’s tooth behind the foothills in the east and the resort, Jackson, Wyoming is only two hours away. Equidistance to the west lays Sun Valley. Famed for skiing and hiking, both resorts are outdoor playgrounds for many of the rich and famous. Extremely popular for conferences, think tanks and destination events, they are the perfect market for our flowers. We have sub zero winter temps, dry hot summers and about 120 growing days. Through the clever use of structures, succession planting and a kamikaze approach to perennials we stretch 120 days into six months and deliver over 100 varieties of cut flowers from mid-March to late September. As a working farm we are not set up for retail sales or drop-in visits. We sell wholesale only. Please visit our Partners page to find a designer near you. Just ask them for Bindweed Flowers. |
